Periwinkle I shook it lightly but not . Maybe that was the problem. Like I said he smelled wonderful and his coat was very soft, so it was probably my error in not shaking vigerously. Thanks for the hint. I just looked aty the bottle again and in red letters it reminds us to Shake well...duh... Well, now I'm ready to try it again, but for my poor baby's sake I'll wait a few days. Bath days are really tramatic for him for some reason..he acts as if I'm trying to kill him. I definitely have a little "drama queen"
