Im gonna tell on myself. Once we had neighbors who ended up with a mini goat. One day it was on my front porch drinking water like crazy from our outside dog bowl. That was the first time I met Dinky. I wasnt sure where he came from so I thought he was lost, I put him in our barn with food and water. WHen the neighbors got home, I asked them Is this your goat they said yes our kids won him at the fair. So I went and got him and gave him back. Guess what he was on my porch the next morning, thristy and hungry. When they got home I gave him back again.
I started watching and they had the goat tied to a horse trailer, very short, so short, he couldnt reach the bowls below him. I could see it from a distance from my front porch. SO I walked over across the field, loosened the rope and went and got food and water to put in the empty bowls he couldnt reach before I got there to begin with!
I watched them come home that night and they walked right past the goat, never checked his water or food, never even glanced at him.
When I looked out the next morning though, there he was tied short again, no food or water in the bowls and he couldnt have reached them anyway. Im not sure how the goat kept getting tied so short, maybe the kids, but it was obvious the parents were not making sure the goat was taken care of. Well I just couldnt stand it. SO instead of getting food and water for him and leaving him, I untied him, and he trotted home with me.
I had him for about 10 days. You would have thought they would have inquired on him but they didnt and I never said a word. I figured they would come asking. ANd that was the only way I would give DInky back, I wasnt volunteering to take him back to the abuse.
They never did inquire EVER about DInky the Goat, and they lived there probably 6 months since the date I took him.
After 10 Days when they were at work, a friend of mines friend came and got DInky form our barn and took Dinky to his farm where he would have a good life.
Those people are being plain mean to that little yorkie. I dont know about your guys yorkies, but some of mine are pretty agile, they can climb out of x pens

Hint! Hint!
I wouldnt tell someone to take the dog because its against the law. But if the proper people dont help get the dog out of the situation pronto, it sure would be a shame that that little dog jumped out of the x pen and ended up getting lost at someone elses home. Its obbious they consider the dog a nuissance and dont love it.
