Denim Coat- too boring?

I love cold weather too. My favorite outfit to make are coats and joggers and I was actually surpised that it did get cold enough for me last year to really need a bunch of them with Chloe and Tink. But the cold weather sure didnt last long.

I like the idea of a leather collar, I will have to keep my eye open for some sort of leather type material. I have faux snakeskin, would that make an interesting collar? hmmmm gotta go try some stuff out

Hobby Lobby is a black hole or a time warp for me...I go in, but I can't ever seem to get out! I get distracted and lose track of time because I'm looking at EVERYTHING thinking of my next project!!!

Its a really cute coat! IF you add anything to it I would say add a red to it or silver

I bought some silver trim and I put it on the coat but it looked really funny in my opinion so I took it back off. The coat is lined and fleece so it is warm and functional, do you think its too boring without anything on it or is the simplicity of it make it kind of nice?

Could you make a harness with this?? and maybe add some fabric for the ruffled edged part??-even just simple solid colors would be cute-since the denim fabric already has so much detail?? i dont know just a suggestion-i would DEF. want one if you make it. LET ME KNOW PLEASE-VERY INTERSTED. cute fabric!!
