[F]Ok! I need your help! Barrettes or Bands? I want to make bows you will buy!!!! If your a barrette fan, please tell me what kind and what size you prefer! Thanks so much!

BARRETTES HERE!!!!
All the barrettes we have are the inch metal barrettes...can't think of what they are called. LOVE 'em!!

I would give people the option and maybe charge a little extra for the bows with barrette's. Then everyone is happy. I think they are called french barrette's that most people would prefer. I had a hard time finding the tiny one at the craft stores and wound up purchasing them on ebay that way I can always add them if I want to.

I have only bought bows on bands before but I have a hard time putting the bows on, so maybe barrettes are better ?

I think if you did a poll, most people like the barrettes. They just seem easier and they last! -- many once the bands break...you have to find someone to add a barrette on or toss the bow

When paying over $3 for a bow..who wants to throw it away!

We do a band in the hair and then clip a bow thru the hair...no twisting the bow to get the bands on tight, etc.

I personally LOVE the alligator clips. I never ever ever buy bows with bands on the back....because no matter how hard I try, I can NEVER get them straight.

Tatum's hair is really thick, and with the french clips, I can't ever get them to close...part of the clip always ends up popping off

But with the alligator clips, I never EVER have ANY problems with them. I absolutely LOVE them!!!!!

Barrettes here Miss Coco will have them off in a min sooner if its a band
small barrettes for us here.. her hair is still thin and growing

Agree 100%!! I only use the little claw clips or the ones that are the tiny tear drop shapes (actually baby clips) or an alligator clip. I always end up getting the rubber band wrapped around Livi's hair and then I have to cut it out.

Also, I am just like Brooke...I can't get the band straight.

I used to think that the barrettes were the easiest and only way to go and then I got a few show bows with bands. Now I use both and don't really have a preference. I agree that offering both options would be a good idea and if you need to charge a bit more for the barrette style those that want this option would most likely be willing to pay a bit more for the convenience.

I found bands work better for me. The barettes seems to be to heavy for the bows and would flip them over. Plus, they always fall out.
