| Fancy/Detailed Denim Harnesses, need some ideas I made this short ruffled harness for Chloe for our August meet up and I like it so much I want to try and find more of the embellishments to make more but first I want a few opinions. This harness has beads, sequins, floral embelishments which each is sewn down, and I handplaced each of the 3 different size & color swarovski crystals on it. All in all it took several hours to make and with the embelishments it was rather expensive to make so before I seek out to see if I can find more of the floral embellishments (that green/turquoise I used was the only one I had but I do have pink ones and pink polka dot fabric so I can make a pink version) I was wondering if this is anything anyone would even be interested in? Also what if I could make a similar style less expensive with fewer embelishments? Any changes or suggestions if I try to make a differnt but similar style? Also I have tons (like 6 or seven yards) of this dark denim that I fell in love with that has little silver studded looking floral design on it and Ive been sitting on it for 5 months now, I do not know what to do with it. Should I just make plain denim harnesses or coats out of it? What can I dress it up with? any ideas? Being pregnant has stunted my ability to think and therefore Im creatively challenged lately Any help and suggestions is much appreciate! Im sorry the last picture is kind of blurry- it does not do this fabric justice!

| The dress is beautiful. I think the demin would make cute dresses, and winter coats with a little fur around the neck, and bottom.

| If I did a dress or harness with the silver studded floral denim (the last picture I have posted) what should I do for a belt or bow for a dress or fwhat should I do down the middle of the harness? I guess I can try and find cute silver trim maybe? This is what Ive been stuck on for months , trying to find somethign to jazz it up with.

| Shana, the denim harnesses look fantastic just the way they are. You'd better hurry up and get Teri taken care of, she is NOT very patient. |

| I LOVED that harness that Chloe had on. The embellishments and crystals were so adorable. I love swarovski crystals That's why Lacy has so many Swarovski crystal collars. When I bought fabric to make Lacy that green/pink harness dress this weekend, I didn't see hardly any kind of cool embellishments because I was trying to be more creative at first but gave up because of the crappy selection. I would definitely be interested in one like that but I'd have to know how much it would cost first (I'm going to have a lot less cash now being in vet school... ) I'm sure most people wouldn't care if you used cheaper embellishments, but I really love that exact one especially with the swarovski crystals (glass crystals and rhinestones just aren't as good). I would love to see a pink version as well but I love the teal. Just let me know when you figure out how much one like that would cost.

I think a few less embellishments would still look great and if it would keep the price down a bit... go for it.... FOR ME!!!! | |
