| Doggie Placemats I have been working on placemats for our babies... I am wondering what would you prefer to see... I have some waterproof lining, would you like a placemat to have it?? What kind of fabrics would you like to see? I am working right now on the same fabrics I have on my bells, kind to making sets... but, would you like to see also fun prints, like puppies, for example?? Or you like more decorative prints... I have been thinking about making them with a interface layer, like a quilt style, but don't know if that would be really important for you... I will really appreciate your input, suggestions and comments!!! Will post pics soon of what I have made up to now!! Thanks a lot!

| I'd love to see pics! I have a rubber placemat that I use under the food and water bowls. It's important to me, that it stops the bowls from sliding and that it's waterproof and easy to clean.

| I can't wait to see what you have. I think the waterproof backing would be great. I like solid colors (like tan, black, etc)...but if you have some cute fun prints, those are always great too! I just can't wait to see what you come up with! What size are you planning on making, what shape, etc?

| I think a placemat that is easy to wash would be the best. Becasue I have a drooling 90lb boxer I go through placemats like crazy! I typically like to get solid color placemats because it matchs my decor better. I think waterproof is a great idea but I do think fabric placemats that are machine washable would be nice too, this is what I like to use so I'd definetly be intersted if you start offering them I dont know if this would be hard but I think a bone shaped placemat is so cute!

| Yes, I think those are very useful to everyone... I use them myself too... Nobody can discover the black thread anymore, I guess we all have the same needs, that's why we all come up with the same ideas. And people has more to choose!! Each one of my mats is unique, and every finish is different. Of course, they all will be custom made, and will be available in sets with my tinkle bells. I also have an embroidery machine and will offer the personalizing. I will have the waterproof lining as an option, and different trims to choose. I will have the bone shape to offer, as well as a more traditional rectangle with rounded corners. I still have to make a last proof washing the mat with the lining, just to be sure it will survive the washer machine. I will add MY OWN WORK's pictures in this thread, so you can see what I am making, and can give an opinion on MY own products. Thanks!

I cant wait to see pics of your placemats, it sounds like you have a bunch of adorable designs in mind! Will you offer sizes? I need a small placemat for my little girls and then I need a big placemat for my boxer Penny.

There was someone else making placemats, I believe it may have been littlebitwraps, but I don't think they were waterproof. I can make them also. I use the potty pad material covered with decorative fabrics in different shapes and/or sizes. They are waterproof on the bottom.
