| I want to know more, more, MORE! Ok, so I really like my buddy (NOOOO, I'm not telling who it is!)! And, I want to know even more about them. Anybody have any hints on what thread to start to wrangle that information out of them?

| Do you think a thread should be started describing our yorkies and their personalities?

I'll start Zoe's a tough little bitty fighter, having survived when few thought she would. She's a bow-wearing girly girl AND a rough and tumble play fiend. She LOVES to fetch (still swearing at the bees ) over, and over, and over again. She LOVES to play with our two 16-lb cavaliers as rough as they will let her. They play tug of war, they rough house and run laps after each other...and finally she ends up curled up spooning with one of them, or Cindy. They are amazingly patient and gentle with her...if Cindy (the old lady of the group) thinks they're playing too rough, she scolds the cavaliers and they listen! She's also VERY snuggly, and sleeps on our bed at night, and in our arms every chance she gets. She especially likes to sleep right under my chin on one arm--not very convenient, but wonderful. She loves walks--has as much energy after 4 miles as she did at the beginning , and she's got HOPS, I tell you! She just springs up onto anything, even if it's almost 4' off the ground, and has a VERY long vertical leap. We think it would be fun to do agility with her. So that's Zoe in a nutshell. She's changed our home and each of our lives, filling them with joy, and we've all fallen head-over-heals for her.

| I like this because it will benefit us all. This will help us all learn more about our SB and their Mommies. Okay for us........... Jackson is my shy one. It has taken time but he is now a great loving companion. He does not give kisses and will tolerate you hugging up to his face. That is really his personal space and he does not like me in it. He loves treats and bully sticks. He is my super handsome man and has learned that when Mommy wants to take pictures that he needs to just pose and get it over with. He knows Sit, Stay and No. He really likes to lay on the couch with me at night when we watch tv. He tries to sleep in another dogs cuddle bed (it is like a cuddle sack and a cushion bed all in one. the sack part is sewn on top on the cushion part). He loves to go places with me. He always draws attention because of how handsome he looks. Of course when we go out I usually have his top knot pulled back with a clip or a boy style bow and of course he has some cute shirt of vest harness on too. He likes to go for walks but only if he can smell everything in his path. LOL He would much rather play with a soft squeek toy. He is Mommies pride and joy!

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Lily s the type of dog that you don't even know you have. She is so easy and takes no special attention. She is just starting to talk and be vocal to tell me things. But mostly she is a very quite dog. She loves bones. And likes to sit on my lap so her brother and sister leave her alone when she is chewing on them. She sleeps right by my chest every night and snuggles in and does not move till morning. She is just a great little member of the family and I love her dearly.

| Tink (Tinkerbell) Is such a little boss. She loves to show off and steal treats. Her favorite toy is her skineez squirrel. She likes to drag it around and dare you to try to take it from her. She will stick her butt in your direction and growl. She thinks she can talk and says momma from time to time. She absolutely loves her skin brother and two skin sisters. But most of all Tink is a daddy's girl!!! She is always right next to daddy in his chair or on his pillow next to his head watching baseball.

| Gidget is a daddy's girl. She is a very happy soul. She is a big jokester. She loves to hide behind long curtains then jump out and take off running. She has the zoomies every morning. She loves to play w this stuffed animal I have that looks like a yorkie. She drags it around. She really prefers her own kind (yorkies) and does not care for other kinds of dogs. She is shy w strangers. She LOVES to go places in one of her carriers. Her favorite toy is her Kong. She wears sweaters in the winter to keep warm, but other than that she does not like to dress up (much to mommy's dismay). I also keep her hair on her head cut short bc she does not like topknots (she's a bit of a tomboy).

| Jada is a little spitfire and protector of her house. Once you are inside she loves to lick you and sit on your lap. She came to us as a retired breeder at 2.5 years old. She only had one litter a singleton and had to have a c-section and spay. Our vet talked the breeder into rehoming her and knew we would give her the pampered life she deserved. She didn't know how to play for the first 6 months of her life with us. Right before Christmas I picked up two loofah dog toys for her and Bogie. She immediately took the yellow one and it has been true love ever since. I cried like a baby when she finally figured out what playing was. I don't know what we are going to do when her beloved "yellow dog" is worn completely out, as I have bought every color and even the same one and she won't touch them. I love this little girl with all my heart and she has her daddy and I wrapped so tightly around her little paw, that we would do anything for her Here is one of my favorite pictures of her with "yellow dog". 100_1832 (400x600).jpg

| Chloe is my shy, nervous little mommy's girl. She loves her mommy and gets panicked if I am not around. She loves to go with you, but then is nervous the whole time ..lol She is a sweet heart and loves to snuggle. She has became a big daddy's girl at night though. I tell him it's because of the body heat he radiates. lol She loves little small squeaky toys... like the little kong toys (duck, frog, etc)..she adores those and we have gone through many squeakers. lol Not sure what else to put. lol

| I often say Mylee is the most challenging dog I have ever had. She's had two surgeries for hip displasia, she's a runner, has trust issues, has separation anxiety, and she spins circles when she is nervous (the guy on animal planet calls that OCD but her fisherman daddy lovingly calls her spinner bait ). I am not complaining though, I believe we were meant to be. I think many other homes would have given up on her long ago due to her issues, but we work diligently on training, and she has come leaps and bounds and I am so very proud of her. She plays hard and she crashes hard. When she is awake, she is busy busy busy. At night, she starts out sleeping on the end of the bed, and by morning she has snuggled up close to me and that pretty much describes her personality. On the floor she is reluctant to come to you and give in to affection, but the moment you pick her up she is a limp noodle of affection and just molds to your body. She would be content to let you hold her all day long without fighting to get down. While some may call her a yapper, I understand every word she says and our conversations get pretty complicated, but mostly she just wants her daddy to quit hogging the sofa and accidentally on purpose drop a few more crumbs.

| Riley is a Sweetheart. He is a True City Boy…. He Loooves playing Fetch and Hiding things. He hides his hide-a-squirrels or whatever bone he is chewing and sits there whining until Mommy goes and finds it. Sometimes he hides it right under my butt cheek….. He Loooooves going places in his Kwigy-Bo and doesn’t make a peep or move. He actually likes hanging out in it at home, sometimes, also. LOL!! Everybody who has met him absolutely adores him. The girls and guys at his Vet office go gaga from the moment we walk in until the moment we leave. He Loooooves other people and other animals…and immediately rolls onto his back when approaching them. He also Loves to go belly flat in the grass… even though he has some environmental allergies because after a few days of that, his belly gets a little red and dry. – I just rub coconut oil on it and keep him out of the grass for a few days and he is fine. He is a big boy, now…. just recently having full run of the bedroom…. He did so well that just 1-month later he had full run of the whole place. He is outdoor trained and also uses his litterbox w/peepeepads if he has to. He adapts very quickly to any new routines. And, He has Mommy wrapped around his little Paw!!!! |
