GE XII Extra Info Thread - YorkieTalk.com Forums

As usual, I forgot to put some info in my sign up for the GE XII. I thought it might be nice to have one thread we can all check for extra info from our SBs while preparing to shop. Just put your buddy's name in the Title of your message and go for it!

I forgot to mention that both Holly and Gracie are addicted to Yorkie Yummies, either flavor is fine. They would also like to have a Hide A Bee or Hide A puzzle toy.

They have both sizes of the Hide a Squirrel. They could also use another washable pee pad or two from Little Bit.

Yorkie Yummies have flavors??!?! really? The ones from Chattiesmom? hmmm Alph just wouldn't eat this last bag I got I wonder if it's because it's a different flavor then normal.

Yes, they are the original beef or the new chicken flavor. The beef is darker in color and the chicken is lighter. Mojo favors the beef, but LG loves them both!

Okay, back to the OP.....I haven't signed up yet, but will sign up LG soon (Mojo has a GF that exchanges gifts w/ him throughout the year, so he won't be in this GE).......BUT what a great thread!!!! Very helpful!

Gracie2006~ Great idea! I too forgot some info and had to go back and repost.

Bucky also has an addiction problem to Yorkie yummies. He just goes crazy for them. He could use a nice cloth harness and would also like to try a washable pee pad. He is not really a bow boy. So please no bows. Daddy doesn't like his boy in bows.

We are so excited that we can't wait to find out who our buddy is.

Well Pheoebe would like a Hide-A-Toy of any kind, she just goes crazy for all the pics on YT where your babies are playing with those thing and also she really wants a napsack from Chattiesmom
But we would love anything as long as it comes from the heart

Thanks for starting this! I also have been wanting to try the washable pee pads so that is on my wish list

We have so much fun shopping for these exchanges that what we get is very secondary. It is just fun to be a part of!

Wow I was thinking about starting a thread like this because I too forgot to put some stuff on my sign up post...was too excited...hehe....

1) Hide-a-bee
2) Washable pee pads
3) Yorkie yummies since yoshi love them although he isn't participating this round.
4) Step in harnesses.

Lexie would love to have:

-a silk step-in harness from Chattiesmom...any color
-some pretty bows with barrettes that she's seen sold by some fellow YT mommies.
-a supply of better quality rubber bands to do her top knots with. I'm not sure if they have a specific name, but I don't think they are sold in stores. They're the kind you get from the groomers; I think they are rounded rather than flat?????

-a soft fluffy blanket
-Lexie loves to chew on Nyla-bones or something along that line. But please, no greenies or rawhide.
-Yorkie Yummies would be great or any other itty-bitty treats (great to use for training)

Lexie will love and appreciate just about anything her GE buddy is able to send. Thank you so much in advance!

Great thread! Here are some tips for Sapphire's buddy ....

She desperately needs a harness (or anything with a D-ring) since her lovely brother & sister chewed up her favorite harness dress on me the other day.

(She's wearing it in the picture below)

Also, she's never had a pair of PJ's, so that may be something to consider. She will love anything her buddy gets for her, her favorite part is shopping for her buddy! She's already started, and we can't wait to find out who her buddy will be! This is our very first GE!

Great thread! I was thinking of doing just exact thing...

I got so excited I forgot so much.

Kaba loves clothes (okay, that was a lie, her MOMMY loves clothes) mainly dresses and tanks but she would love some cute party dresses (only has one)
or pj's. mommy bought her a pair and they are way too big
or cloth harnesses
she wants to try the hide-a-bee
loves any toy with a squeaker but make sure they are on the smaller size.
and could definitely use some healthy all natural small treats for training.
loves beds and blankets
She would love anything handmade

Please all I ask is that you have fun shopping for Kaba! It's her first GE and she is so excited. We have already started working on our buddy so lets hope we get the sex we started buying for.
