| Of course, size is the first thing I look for when buying clothes for Gidget. The next thing I ask myself is "will it look cute on her". Cost CAN be a consideration but nothing is too good for my little girl. |

| One of my yorkies would not walk if his coat had sleeves. So all of his things had to be sleeveless. My other pup didn't mind sleeves. He also did not like big puffy stuffed coats or raincoats that made a crinkly sound when he walked. So he had to have soft, noiseless, sleeveless clothes. He also wouldn't wear sweaters that had a loop that went around his back legs. He was very picky. I had to keep all these things in mind when shopping for him.

| ^ Jax doesn't like sleeves either! Also velcro isn't always his or my favorite.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Comfort. Also d rings are always helpful so you don't have to put harnesses and clothes on. . .

| I would also say enough room in the neck area. I tried on several sweaters for his size that were a bit tight around the neck and huge everywhere else. I like velcro and loose stretchy neck. |

| Something out of the ordinary. Mine, and Loki's fashion, runs more towards the goth/punk fashion. Which is extremely hard to find without it costing a small fortune so a lot of his stuff is handmade by me. I also don't stick with he's male so he needs male clothing. I am actually going to be making him a red plaid skirt so he has a kilt that he can wear with his "yorkshire terrorist" shirt. Velcro is no good for Loki as he can peel it off in 2 seconds. Though, honestly, if he doesn't feel like wearing something, he can undress really quickly. He gets hot fast so no sweatshirts in the house or one piece outfits. I think it is just a matter of trial and error until you find what you like and what your furbaby will wear. |

Our little girl has long hair. We don't like Velcro as her hair can get stuck in the Velcro. If something has a zipper we like the zipper to have a flap under to keep hair out. When she was little she could wear sleeves, but now sleeves just tangle and mat her hair so quickly that we can't use them. I also think they keep her too warm now - even if it's chilly outside. She loves a ruffle! I don't know how she knows, but she just prances like a princess if there's a ruffle. Thumps up to the d-rings comment. And, yes, cost does matter. So we will often check sales and clearance first for an extra item or two to go with the "necessities" we likely pay full price for. Good luck with your boutique e! | |

| Cali does not like hoods or collars that are high. She is in full coat and only weighs 4 pounds so size is always important.
