| Lilah's Queen Elsa/Frozen snowflake dress Hee hee hee- okay, yes the picture is the before bed after a weekend beach trip return in front of my laundry baskets messy blanket picture but I had to try it on her and take a little pic cause I just finished stitching her dress and thought it looked so cute I wanted to share! I knew we had a few hours in the car for our beach trip this weekend so I picked up some impulse material at the store and hand stitched it on the go (I'm an awful machine user) I decided it's her Queen Elsa dress because it looks similar to said character on the new Disney movie Frozen.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | She looks beautiful !! You did a wonderful job ! Machine sewing is easy. Just takes a little practice. . My Gran told me and stuck with me . . As long as you can sew a straight line you can sew. Best way to practice is to take a piece of fabric and draw straight lines with a ruler. . .then sew on the lines . . .it will help keep them straight . Then now do it with two pieces. The use the plate on the machine where the needle is .it gives measurements. And let that be your guide to keep the line straight . . Now you are sewing ! Wish you were closer. I could help you . . I have been sewing since I am 7 and I am . . . .

| I have only recently fallen in love with jo Ann's! They have an amazing knick knack/accessory/ribbons/buttons/lace edging thing going on and really fun prints and liscenced fabrics that I have not seen anywhere else. I would love to take a class, it is details and a support person I think I really need. Well, and time and better organizational skills my human children are getting a bit older and it is changing and shaping my life drastically. I am growing a little more time and space in certain ways and it is amazing. Maybe not ready to get serious about sewing (though quilting is right there at the top of my next adventure list) but I am almost there...almost. For now knitting and hand stitching are the only things that fit very comfortably in my cards but the hand I'm playing is constantly changing so we shall see

| The dress is adorable! You did a great job! I used to like to sew, but since the arthritis in my hands is getting worse, I haven't been sewing. I will try to do some sewing this winter. Keep up the good work!
