| Wrap Satin Lined Vest My girls are all in full coats, so I've been in search of a satin or silk lined vest that wouldn't knot and mat their coats. Came across a new (to me) pattern and out of desperation thought I'd try it. So here's the first one I made, and it does work very well. As I can leave nothing as is, I will be tweaking it to death, lol! Top view.JPGLeft Side View.JPGTop View Alt Embellishment.JPGLining.JPG

| Thanks! I've used this harness a few times now and I like it more each time! One mistake I used lightweight, narrow Velcro (duh! What was I thinking!) but it holds together well regardless. But what I really like is that the Velcro all connects on the top of the dog, and I have yet to tangle her hair in it. And her chest hair stays so much cleaner. With the silky lining, the dog doesn't get warm/hot under the harness (the top is shirt weight denim), and when I brushed her after our walk, I think I hit two knots... total! Very easy and quick to get on and off, which is important for me bc she tries to bite my hands in her excitement at going for a walk. So all said, I'm very happy with this pattern!

| Oooh, I love that the Velcro is on top! We were growing out a very nice coat, it was going well, I was proud- we had a rough week or two on the home front and too much detangling passed us by, in my disappointment we went for a warm weather shave; lion cut-esque, I don't think we will ever do that again, just work through the tangles and try to keep our daily regemine (met a lady who said she needed to only brush every other day or three and didn't have to use a face wash because her girls coat was so silky- are we cottony and I didn't know it? So we have an eye goop problem that is abnormal? Omg I am hijacking your thread!!!) anywho, what a lovely idea and so considerate that it attaches at the top and is lined with delicious silk- beautiful job!

| Do you mind sharing where you found the pattern. I really like how it fastens on the top. Cali has full coat and I often have trouble getting her hair caught up in the Velcro. You did a very nice job making this stylish!

| Thanks, Teri! Oh those under arm mats are the worst! Tink won't let me work on that area, so I have to cut them out on her... at least it doesn't show!
