| Quilts for Christmas So, Linda (lady jane) and I were perusing the interwebs and found a really cute quilt pattern that she thought was perfect for a friend and asked me to make a quilt for this friend for a birthday gift... Her birthday is February 14th, her favorite color is purple and her favorite thing is hearts. Here's what I made:

| Then, Linda decided she needed a quilt for herself, after seeing some fabric I posted on Facebook. It's a line that's breast cancer related but has little dogs and cats on it. Here's what I made for her.

| And last but not least, Linda decided to have a quilt made for the same friend for Christmas. This friend actually purchased a quilt from me for her mother in law, and she loved it so much, she almost didn't want to give it. Linda and I concocted a plan to recreate the quilt for her, and it was so much fun!!! I actually posted a picture of the quilt on Vicki's Facebook page and taunted her that "another customer wanted a quilt like this and ordered it" and when she contacted me about making her one, I fibbed and told her it would be after the new year because the fabric was on backorder". She was so surprised when she got the quilts!! And it was so hard keeping the secret-I couldn't post the first one knowing if she saw it, she would figure it out, so I had to keep it secret for a few months. Linda has been keeping me busy, and I was proud to present a check to Yorkie Haven rescue for 10% of my sales (which several came from Linda!!) Hope you enjoy the pictures! I haven't been in the studio for almost 3 weeks and I am missing it!!! Hopefully tomorrow I can sneak away for a little creative time and work on a few projects.

| A side note on the heart's quilt. When we saw that pattern, I told Michele that I would purchase the pattern but she told me she did not need a pattern! Just amazing! I love, love, love her work. I am on her FB page and see things that she does...totally lovely and creative AND they smell luscious!!!

| I belong to a quilt club & I make quilts for my furbabies. I make them for when we are out in the car, or for their stroller/s sitting on the deck. Very happy to see some other people love to make them for their sweeties too. |
