| Who Makes Hoodies/Sweaters I can find some hoodies on ebay that are really inexpensive, but I'm not sure what quality they will be or how they will launder. Anyone know if someone here makes hoodies? I have a little girl and I'm starting to look for winter wear, ie. really cute sweater and a hoodie for outside when we're walking. Thanks |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | We have lots of great vendors and they have prices that fit any budget. One word of advice is don't worry too much about washing, Joey's clothes stay much cleaner than a toddlers clothes because he really doesn't drop food all over himself or get that dirty. If the clothes fit right, it means that no poop or pee will get on the garment either. Joey's clothes come in all price ranges and all have held up well in the washer, but truthfully, you won't need to wash them after every wearing. Here's a list of YT's vendors. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ore-sites.html One of our members, Pooch lady, sells things on ebay. rocknpooches | eBay

| I found Taffy's sweaters & jackets browsing in stores. Hello CoCo's Mommy, Okay, I am a senior, too, age 63, retired teacher, who loves to browse the stores in the nearby small city of Staunton, Va. My Yorkie was basically 'given' to me for $100.00 by a good friend who bred Yorkies. Nobody put a down-payment on "Toffee" because he was twice as big as the other 3 puppies! Everybody thought he was going to be a Huge Yorkie, except my friend who had bred him & she knew Toffee's mom had also been a "big pup" who had stopped growing at 5 lbs--well, Toffee, or as we call him now--"Taffy"--did the same thing, he stopped at 5 1/4 lbs, a great size for the countryside where we live with large 'red-tail hawks' circling over the pastures. One of these big hawks snatched up a little toy poodle from its backyard in the city suburbs while the owner could do nothing but scream! I keep Taffy on a leash when we are outside.) Now, it can get cold where we live (on western side of Shenandoah Valley...lovely mts., 'Blue Ridge Parkway' is only @ 40 minutes away with those pretty leaves in the fall), so it's nice to get outdoors with your dog here...temperatures from 90's in summer to below freezing in winter! Well, I found jackets, sweaters, tee shirts, and holiday clothing in all the pet stores, like the 'Pet Smart' chain-store, our family-owned "Pets & Pals" store, and TJMAXX has a whole isle of nice doggie products, and even Wal-Mart's Pet Dept. has some inexpensive sweaters & coats on an end-cap display, but I HATE paying full price anywhere. So, I always watch for "sales", and by now, Taffy has 2 shopping-tote bags full of clothes, leashes, collars, and even warm socks! I believe his best-made items were from "final sales" on the Martha Stewart line at Pet Smart, and then the nicer products at TJMAXX that would come from companies all over the world. I'll go see what the labels are for you, maybe they have websites, I don't know? His bright red, quilted fall jacket with decorative brass-bone button on a back pocket is by "LondonDog", his puffy, cream-colored snow coat with faux-fur collar on a detachable hood is by "Royal Animals", he has some really nice doggie sweaters from TJMAXX by "First Class Fido" and "Dog Label, a Division of Fab Dog, Inc." The most I paid for any item Was $16.00 for the red, quilted jacket...that was TJM's 2nd markdown and I loved it, so as soon as this other lady, who also was looking at it, had set it down to go look at the doggy beds, I dropped it in my cart and Happily walked off. The best time to shop is when it is at the end of a season...great low prices! |

| I can't wait to see them Dawn. I have a big dog show this weekend and I have been busy knitting and making collar bows and hair bows and bowties but still have to sew some warm things. Since time is running out, any help would be much appreciated. |
