| Latest Work in Progress When I sent the dog quilt to Linda for the raffle for YHR, I also sent her a breast cancer quilt. It was a previous quilt I had made for a relay for life raffle and my mom won it. I asked my mom if she minded us sending it to Linda instead and she agreed with the stipulation that I make her another one. So this is what I came up with. It needs to be quilted and finished, but this is what I've been up to. (I currently have 10 works in progress in various stages of completion and my goal is to finish them all before the end of July)

| Machine. I don't have the patience or the strength in my arms to hand quilt. I'd never get a quilt finished if I hand quilted!!!

| It is beautiful Michele. So is my lovely quilt...I SO love it!!! Speaking of hand quilting...I used to sit as a child and help my grandma quilt..she always had a quilt set up to work on. Had a special area for it. I wish I had one of those quilts. I do have one that we started and one day I may try to finish it. I don't know .. it is pretty old fabric. All of the sections are sewn by hand. Pretty ancient stuff.

| So its blocks.... you may be able to find what is called period fabric (fabric from that period) to complete it, or if you are more interested in just having the finished quilt as a keepsake, just suck it up and use fabric from now. I would be willing to help you if you want.... I know you're busy now, but later when things settle down.
