Anyone know where to get dog clothes patterns? Hey everyone! I just read the thread about the Pawject runway =) and it gave me the best idea, to make some dog clothes of my own! I was wondering if it is hard to do, and if anyone knows where to get patterns. I have a boy dog and the choices are limited, especially in my small town, and I don't like ordering online a whole lot because of sizing. Is it difficult to make dog clothes like vests? Are there patterns available? Is a sewing machine necessary? I don't have any sewing experience beside home ec class in grade 8 lol.

Hahah that's awesome! And a very creative idea! I will certainly look her up! I have a feeling once I get into it I'll be wanting a sewing machine also. I'm not looking to make anything fancy. Just a fleece vest with some Velcro or something really simple. Sleeveless for sure lol. I'm excited to try this because I'm quite picky on patterns and I find a lot of stuff I see at petsmart and those places aren't very nice for the price you pay! Thanks for the tip! I'm going to look her up right now!

| i use patterns and you can resize them for a perfect fit on a copier. i personally find when making multiple outfits you just get an overall consistency with patterns but if your making it for one baby only you can wing it for sure or create your own. i always do and you just tape mutiple pieces of paper together and draw and cut then try sizing it around your baby to see how the fit is. i suppose you could use fabric glue but it would be alot easier imo to have a sewing machine. miss daisy designs has some cute boy patterns. good luck.

Thank you for the tip! I honestly think cutting out the paper like that would be the easiest route for me!! Maybe I can borrow a sewing machine once I get a pattern made and fabric bought! I just want something super simple, a little cute vest in a nice pattern to wear in the spring! My little Grim is very temperature sensitive so I want to keep him comfy and happy!

How do I find the websites for the YT members that make clothes? I want a harness vest for sure. That's what I am looking for! I'm picky on the pattern is the whole issue I'm having. I want something cute and classy lol. Grim has a few outfits now but they are a bit elaborate with hoods and fur trim. He seems to prefer something without a hood and I'd like something more light weight. Do you know where I can find their sites? Is there a thread on here listing them? Also do you know of anymore etsy shops of homemade clothes?
