♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Attempting Okay I have no sewing skills. But my parents do. They use to quilt. Mom said she stopped because she ended up doing all the crappy sewing and dad did all the fun stuff. Anyways since dad passed I have been telling her maybe she could make some dog clothes. Well today we cut a pattern out. Something simple to start with. Will share when we finish it. I am guessing she will have it finished soon. But I need to buy some Velcro. And then she has me on line looking for different attachments. It will be fun. I don't dress mine that often but for special occasions

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | That's wonderful! I can't wait to see you guys' creation! I buy my Velcro on amazon in 10 yd rolls. I've found that's the most affordable option for me. I tried snaps but didn't care for those. Buttons are fun too but I am afraid to try that feature on my machine. Lol Happy Sewing!

i found with snaps fear cause if your off a 1/2 in ur in trouble and i have yet to use my button feature also. i will just havent gotten that far yet. snaps work great for lola though who is fearful of the velcro sound. ebay also sells velcro will have to compare which is cheapest.

♥Trained by my pups♥ Donating YT 500 Club Member | Thanks for the info on Velcro. And I agree this will be a great time together. The dress is done just needs the Velcro. It is Lily's valentine dress so pictures will be coming soon.

Take a scrap piece of fabric and practice on it. Just make sure you double the fabric so it is more like what your finished project will be. Believe or not it is really easy. A few tries and you will say the same thing. Also have an exacto knife to cut the slit. Good luck
