| First shirt... Ok, so I made my first flannel shirt, but I am not done yet... I need to put a collar on it, but the fabric is not stretchy, so what do you all use for a collar for fleece pj's, nightgowns and shirts??? So far, the shirt was easy to make... but a work in process...

| ok looky looky.... I have discovered stretchable ribbed knit fabric... think I will invest in a yard of white and the shirts and pj's, shall have white collars.... it won't take much to make cuffs and collars.... I think I will make George, our white mini schnauzer a shirt once the new fabric comes in.... not sure that he will be impressed with the monkey fabric, but oh well....

| Thanks! :-) I have also ordered fabric online thru Joann's and amazon... although thru amazon it comes from Fabric.com...... somehow ordering online works for me since I work fulltime and live about 30 miles to the nearest fabric store, if you don't count wal-mart.... hehehe!!! The fabric that I made the snuggle came from Wal-Mart, it was in the jellyroll section of the dept... one yard special!

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I don't always add a collar on mine, but the ones I have done, I used like a rib knit like you see on the top of a basic t shirt. I found it at Joann.
