| pajama's.... So I broke down and got a sewing machine yesterday, my very first machine...(brother project runway with like 60 different stitches) I have done a few items with my mom's very old machine, but yesterday, I got my very own. I did get a pattern to make some pj's and flannel fabric, but since I have no dog yet, and seeing that yorkies come in all shapes and sizes, I think I willl hold off on the pj's and make a few sleep sacks.... I started my first one, but my nine year old son decided to help, so now my squares are different sizes (looks like a quilt), so I will have to get creative on the first sack... but at least it was made with love. I picked out blue fabric and some blue fabric that has zebras on it, so it could be used for boy or girl... thinking our cats might like it for now.... so good idea on holding off on pajama's, or do you think it's safe to make some??

| Congrats on your new machine, can't wait to see all the that you create As far as PJ's if you make small size and then another, surely he/she will grow into it. Enjoy your machine, happy sewing

| I wish I had an artistic bone in my body but alas I don't. I'm so jealous. Good for you on doing the sleep sacks! On the PJs, I think you should hold off because with those going on the arms and legs, you'll want the height right, as well as the length. Maybe make some little shirts or sweatshirts...

| Knowing that it'll get easier with practice and you'll need more than one anyway, I'd go ahead and make a few pjs in a few different sizes.
