Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Help my crafty friends! This is not really dog related but I have a question. Has anyone ever attempted bicycle pannier bags for the rear of the bike? We love to ride with KS. Her basket is on the front and I always find myself asking the hubby if I can store things in the bags he has on his bike. I'd love to try to make my own but have no clue how to. I want something unique and personalized. I love the look and style of this but maybe a different pattern: Cute Double Bicycle Bag Bambi Print by rascalkosher on Etsy I haven't found a pattern I liked online. I need to look at the pattern books when I go to the store. But in the meantime, anyone have any ideas on this? Thank you for any help or advice you can give.

| Have you seen Lisa Lam's book "A Bag for All Reasons"? I love her books and patterns and she has a Bicycle Double-Pannier Bag pattern in this book. |

| I been bike riding a long time and never knew of these items, I just told my husband that he better get a back pack for our upcoming trip to Niagara on the Lake because he is not going to be putting all his stuff in Lola's basket. He uses clip on bike shoes so he like me to carry around his extra pairs of shoes in case we get off our bikes. I just saw where some one took two backpacks they bought at the five below store and sewed them together to make this, pretty quick and cheap. The only think is first you need to put a rack on your bike which he will not do. So I guess I will just make him get the back pack.

| Amyee - I have to tell you - I LOVE LOVE the Posh Puppy Carrier set on that you made and that was my inspiration to get into handbag making! I have made MANY handbags, cosmetic bags, and wallets in the past two months although I've yet to make a carrier. |
