| So whacha workin on? It has been rainy and gloomy over Dallas since yesterday and today is no different. Something about the weather and the pitter-patter sounds of rain is making me feel rather crafty today. Maybe because it's a good day to be indoors on a calm cool quiet morning. I'm having hot chocolate to jump start my day. I don't sew but as some of you may know, I would love to when that time comes. For the most part I enjoy seeing all the wonderful things everyone has made in our little fashion section and I am loving the talents I see out there new and old. For today and for the remainder of the week I am going to be working on a few cards for Daisy's exchange. I will also be doing some bead-work and knitting. With the GE out of the way and weather permitting, I can now focus on my creative abilities and do what I love which is making things for my fluffs & friends. I will post photos of these projects to the forum when they're complete. So to all the ladies in the fashion forum and to those who craft & create for leisure. Mind telling me what sort of projects you'll be working on for the week? |

I have no craft projects just tons of work stuff to catch up on since i have been gone and flowers that are going to die unless I get them potted. I hate to rub it in but we are in for 4 solid days of sun, can't wait to get outside

| Finished baby boy crib shoes, went to Walmart and Albertsons in the rain. Im sure there is a camera somewhere with footage of me trying to cram a 32gal trash can in the backseat of my mustang while it was pouring rain. Gonna start on a wedding dress for a friend next,,,I have 8days to get this done,so there will be no furbaby clothes made, except for it swimming around in my head for when I am done with the dress. |

| The dress is a white 1950s retro garden party gown. Im thrilled it isnt a floor length dress. She is going to even wear a petticoat/crinilyn under it. The groom is my best friends son that is a Marine. This is my gift to the couple. Im so excited for them. They have been together for about 6yrs. |

| Hi ladies! I have been absent for a few weeks as I had some other things I had to attend to, so I put away anything about sewing so I could concentrate...It is all finished now, so I ordered 2 rolls of the 2 in wide velcro from Amazon and am waiting for it to arrive. Before I took a break, I sewed and re-did several items and waited on velcro to finish them. So as soon as it arrives I will finish all of those items. Next I have several July 4th items (some vests and dresses) that were stored away in the big storage container of clothes I used to sell a long time ago that I want to now add velcro to and possibly sell them on my Etsy page in time for July 4th. So, my work is cut out for me...... I do read the posts by others and look at the pictures but have purposely kep quiet and not stayed long, so I do wish this board had a LIKE button I could click to let others know I did read and liked their post...........

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | I'm working on 2 dresses for a friend today. One will be big and one tiny. I imagine they will look humorous next to each other being such a big size difference. Lol. Enjoy the weekend my crafty friends!

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | That sounds like fun! Happy Knitting! I finished 2 outfits for ks this week but am out of action and in bed today. I've hurt my back and am trying to rest. I hope it gets better fast though because I have to make several more things for her for our upcoming vacay and her bday party. I wish I had about a week and endless energy to do all I need to do. Lol

| I am in a mad rush to get some things finished before next Friday. I am scheduled to have surgery and wont be able to drive or lift my arms or anything over a gallon of milk for a while, so I am trying to get stuff done now. It's not working too well!!
