| Does anyone else find their sewing space gone a bit wild? I tend to be a "bit" on the clean freak end of the cleaning spectrum (daughters call me neurotic) except for when I am sewing. If I am making many items the chaos is quite a sight to behold lol. I took pics that I "may" post just to show how insane it gets. It's funny because anything like cooking for example and its clean the entire time but give me some thread, some fabric, a machine and a day and look out . I think that I get so into what I am doing that I just kind of lose myself Wonder if it's just me?

| I'm the kind of person that everything has to be in front of me and easily accessible otherwise I'm not as productive. I'm sure sewing would be the same way. I'm messy when I cook too. |

| Yup, it's not even controlled chaos, it's just crap everywhere. Many times bf will try to tidy up, then I won't be able to find anything. If it's all over the place I have no problem finding stuff. Since moving to the new shop, I have half of my stuff here, half at home. And of the stuff at home half is upstairs and half is downstairs. I can't find anything anymore.

| Yes, I do the same thing. And then other stuff I need to be doing, I put off because I want to work on my project instead, and then it really starts getting out of hand! A couple of yrs ago I hadn't worked on any craft stuff in a long time so I decided to get rid of it all. Now its all accumulating again...

| My space is under construction. Of course, it's been under construction since I bought this house a year ago. I haven't been in my sewing room in months. There's probably cobwebs all over the place by now. Nothing is organized. We moved in and just dumped everything there. I haven't even set anything up yet. If I ever find the motivation. It's odd for me too. I used to sew every day. It was my sanity. Not sure what happened. I still buy stuff. I just don't do anything with it.

| No, no, no...I am OCD about everything! ( my closet hangers are color coded-shirts on white, skirts on pink, hubby's clothes on blue and black, etc) and things must go back in their proper spot immediately. I can't function in clutter.

| Ahhh so nice to know its not just me. I find it so funny that I can be so fanatical about clean everywhere except for the sewing room lol

| ha ha.. I spend hours cleaning and organizing .. then I start my project and the mess happens again. I did get inspired after watching southernbells smilebox on how organized she was..and I purchased a labelmaker. Hmmm... now my mess is labeled!!
