| 3 hours of sewing cutting and drawing = end result! So after 3 hours of sketching what i had in mind, drawing a pattern, dealing with the sewing machine jamming a few times because of the jean fabric and multiple modifications and "try ons" This is what i ended up with My friend had some extra jean fabric so i was inspired to go raid joanns where i bought buttons and the metal clasps for the jumper and the pink fabric which i thought added just the right shade of pink plaid to add to lilos wardrobe. The little heart on the back is also a pocket.. Lilo walked around today carrying her pink teddy bear in it when we went to the store.. so cute... Its my 3rd dress and the sewing is getting a little straighter. im thinking of going out and buying a guard for my machine. any thoughts on those? The last pic is of Lilo cuddling with bella.. i had them match today... the other one was a dress we had a while back. Sewing is getting addicting! |

| There is a magnetic seam guide - I think that is what you are looking for. Joanne's carries them, but other places will also.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Now how cute is that! It's so unique and perfect for summer! I haven't tried sewing jean fabric yet. Is it hard to do?

| It wasn't necessarily hard ... It just kept jamming on my sewing machine for ome reason.... I ould quite figure out why.. the jean fabric with the bleach lines was so cute though... I love it... I saw some jean overalls today and it was just too cute! I think I'm going to look for s pants pattern for dogs... experiment with it. I can't wait to see what you'll come up with |
