Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | A Peek Into My Madness... A fellow YT'er and I were talking crafty spaces today so I thought I would share my wild space with you guys. Mind you, it is nothing fancy at all. Most of the storage pieces do not match, many need to be refinished/repainted, and it is a bit cramped....but it is a very organized space and works perfect for papercrafting and sewing. We currently rent a small mobile home so I had to make do with the little space I had, which is the living room. We 'live' in a extra bedroom which is called the man cave. We did not want to buy a home here in PA just yet because we are hoping to move back down south one day. So in the meantime, this works best for us. One day I will have that dream craft room with everything matching and purdy, but for now this will have to do. You'll have to excuse the madness of it, but I thought I would share... Here is the slideshow: http://smilebox.com/playBlog/4d7a457...&blogview=true If anyone would like to share pix of their crafty spaces too, I'd love to see them!!!

| Loving it Aymee. Are those all cardstock papers for your scrapbooking? Your craft room must keep you busy! I'm planning on turning my soon-to-be craft room into a Paris get away. hehe |

| Lol your craft room looks like my house and office. I have a touch of OCD and organize everything from my hangers and clothes to the pans in the cabinets and even the canned foods in the pantry. Everything gets a place and a label. My next project is an exercise room. My daughter moved out yesterday (she thinks she's grown up sand doesn't need me anymore), sad day, but I'm excited to have an extra bedroom for exercise equipment to go in. I'll be spending the next week painting, new floors, and getting it ready,

| well I may just use your smilebox. ... the next time my dh complains about my crafting I will just make him watch it He will NEVER complain about me again! lol In the house we just moved from I took over an upstairs "bonus" room that was almost the same size as our livingroom/dinning room down stairs. yes.. it was HEAVEN... I had two cutting tables, an amour and a bookcase, a WALK IN closet, a very large sewing matching cabinet.. the one that pulls out into tables with room for my machine and surger. I also had a small sofa and a tv with my wii and my laptop and a desk for my "photo" hobby. sign... its all gone I had to sell and give away and/or repurpose a lot of the furniture. I now have a 11 x 11 extra room that I am lucky to be able to open the sewing machine cabinet in. But I am going to take inspiration from you and make it nice. I have started some.. and will post pictures when I finish. I know I am very lucky to have a room that is my sewing room.. so I am happy!!! btw... I do love your space!!! I hope you don't mind if I borrow some ideas from you? I don't do the scrappy as much as you.. I do have a circut..and of course I sew (quilting too) and I do webdesign and photos. so a little the same and a little different. I also work full time so my time is less... oh and I LOVE to cook.

| How the heck did I miss this? Just seeing all the tidy organization and pretty colors is making me feel better I've been so sick. I saw this and now I'm ready to get out of bed and clean up. I scrapped when I was reeeally young....my best friend had so many supplies, and everytime I'd stay the night we'd add a page to a scrapbook dedicated to our sleepovers. I wish I had the stash (and space!!!) to get into it again!
