Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | 4 New Dresses Hey guys! Man, am I tired! I was up way early. I finished 2 loads of laundry, took the sheets off the bed, washed those, put new ones back on, gave Katie Scarlett a bath, got her ready, got myself ready, and then sat down to sew. I was able to make 4 dresses today and I am worn out, but had so much fun!!! But I am taking the rest of the night off to rest. Here is the first dress I made. It is a basic summertime dress. This dress is made of lightweight fabric to keep the pup cool in the warm summer months. I added a ribbon bow and a wooden embellishment to the center of the bow. The ribbon is some I picked up at Hobby Lobby yesterday. (Yes, I found my way to the fabric department...can you imagine? Tee Hee)

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Dress Two I am feeling a little country today! I felt like using cow fabric...not sure why, but I just went with it. This is a simple playtime, everyday dress. I added a button to the center of the bow on this one.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Dress Three This dress is made some fruity tooty looking fabric I found. I sewed on the bow on this one and added a layered, felt flower to the center for a little embellishment.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | And Dress 4...My very FIRST tutu!!! Yay! Well althought I was quite intimidated, this tutu wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I found a video on YouTube that I followed for making the skirt part. I think I will make a few tweaks of it next go round though. I used leftover cow print fabric for this one since I had enough left over. I also added some black lace trim that looked reallly country to me. I added a bow and a button as well. Thanks for looking guys! Have a fabulous weekend! Hugs, Aymee

| Wow! I'm so jealous! They are all so pretty! I've been wanting to sew soooo bad... but DH and I have spent the last two days running to doctors and labs and pharmacies... and grocery shopping and now I'm running out to Home Depot! Tomorrow I will be sewing for sure!
