| I also love it when this fashion forum is hoppin, it's become one of my favorite spots on YT. Until YT I rarely dressed my yorkies in any clothing, and now I can not stoping buying and looking at stuff. I was telling my mom that I feel like a kid again, it reminds me of when I used to pack up my Barbie stuff and head to my BBF's house and we would play for hours trying different outfits on the dolls, in hindsight LOL I should have named Lola Barbie Were you guys big into Barbie and did you make any clothes for your dolls.

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | Oh I was! I loved barbie! I made little clothes for mine out of quilt fabric scraps. Of course they were pretty simple and probably crooked, but I was always proud to show my mom what I had made. Lol

| LOL,I had Barbie & Francie (anyone remember her?) I remember sitting on the floor beside my mom while she sewed* clothes , or beads & lace onto my doll clothes. How I'd love to have any of that now but we were flooded in 1979 and all that was lost. She did this on the same Singer Featherweight that I use now,it survived the flood. |

| You're right, this page is pretty busy! Hoping I can sew a little bit this weekend. I have some leftover fabric and I want to try and make my first dress. My sister and I used to play Barbies ALL the time...basically anytime we were home. We both used to be figure skaters so we used to make little skating dresses and skirts for our Barbies. Nothing fancy and all just sewn by hand, but they weren't too bad considering we had no idea what we were doing

| Francie! Yes, she was the most beautiful doll I owned and had long blonde hair I would comb and comb! I don't recall making any clothes though... I love to see the things you sew! I have been busy remaking my Cabbage Patch doll dresses to fit my Yorkies...I have large storage containers full of things I want to re-sew including human infant dresses I bought years ago that I always intended to adjust down to fit my Yorkies.....
