| She hates it!!! Lexi has a few dresses with the D rings. They mostly are fitted with the velcro on the tummy and around the neck. Lexi seems to hate the sound of the velcro when I put the outfits on or off. Any suggestions?? |

| I have no advice here except to say my Tessa hates it when I accidentally pull on her hair that sometimes get stuck to the velcro. |

| I recently made a harness dress for a friend who doesn't like velco either. I did buttons at the neck and tummy. Of course you wouldn't have the option of adjusting as easily and would have to make sure your measurements are exact. It turned out very cute and I am going to start making Jada's dresses with buttons instead of velcro.

How long does it take you to make a dress? Lucky for Tessa to have Jada as her SB, she would definitely pay an arm and a paw for them. That's how much she loves it | |

Katie Scarlett's Mommy Donating Member | What a great idea to do buttons! I had not thought of that before. Katie Scarlett doesn't seem to mind the velcro. She is so laid back and pretty much just sits there until I'm finished. I do worry about pulling her hair at times though. I also thought of those little metal snap things? Would that work on doggy dresses? Like this: Snaps They make the tiniest noise when they pop into place. Barely enough to even notice. Just a thought.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Hi Margie!...I know, I know, another old thread brought to the top of the forum. Hope you have found clothing that works for your little one that doesn't like the sound of Velcro. I use the baby plastic snaps for my bandanas & for those who prefer no velcro. Tee shirt dresses work well too!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I'd found them while wandering around Joann's back in February 2011. My very first dog clothes were gawd awful but I kept trying. We were still on the road truck driving and whenever we'd stop I'd make sure our hotel was near a Joann's. Gosh, I love that store...if only I were rich.

| Hehe I love that store too. I try and get remnants and onesies for now until I learn to sew better. However, I am a pro at the no-sew blankets! Hahaha! Hey, at least it keeps me busy! I'm sure it will take a long time for me to make a full dress and error free

| Mina isnt crazy about velcro, but I just open it anyway and as time has gone by she doesnt care as much. I have also taken the time to let her see a dress off of her,let her smell it and close and open the velcro infront of her. She doesnt seem to mind as much if I do this. |
