| What's your preference? I know I can't be the only picky one out there! What's your preference when it comes to fit. I like sweaters and shirts that are long enough to cover most of his back to avoid the "crop top" look, cover the chest, and if at all possible has sleeves. I keep finding so many adorable things for my Kaji man, but I put them back because they're missing one of my major criteria. I've given in to sleeveless shirts, but he doesn't wear then often because I don't like the look. Any one else as picky as me?

| I couldn't agree more with all of your criteria!! I need to go through Riley's things to see what still fits him, from last winter, and what he has outgrown. He turned 1-year in May..... A lot of stuff should probably fit him a little better, now..... I was buying things a teeny bit too big so he would be able to grow into them. It is starting to get a little brisky in the mornings and evenings, here so I should probably do that sooner rather than later. I haven't even started to go onto the various websites to see what Cute sweaters and coats they have out there. |

| Me too. Kaji is 3 and I've been holding on to some of his things from 2 years ago. I don't think they fit anymore.

| I think part of my problem may be that I think Rory and Lane look adorable in just about everything! I will say now that Rory and Lane have a ton of what I consider to be playclothes that it's much easier for me to pass over some of the stuff that is really cheap, even though it seems like a great deal, because I know I won't like the quality or it won't wash and wear as well as something that is maybe a little more expensive. Even my fiance will say that looks cheap compared to some of their other stuff when I ask for his opinion on something, LOL!

| LOL...so funny that you mention this...I AM the exact same on so many things when it comes to fit. I love the harness/dress but not to short on Zhoie's back. If I order her a dress and it's to long on her back, I take the skirt off, shorten it and attach it back. LOL I haven't used sweaters on Zhoie because of her cotton coat, knotted it so bad, but now that I shave her back...I'm thinking we need some sweaters. I need to find a site to order some cute ones from. Anyone have any sweater site suggestions

| That's where I'm at. I ordered ZoE 4 coats and 3 didn't fit and the one that kinda did, looked like a cropped jacket more than a coat. So, I decided to knit her a coat with a hood & scarf attached out of yarn I had on hand (pic below). Once it was finished, I thought it was kinda plain, so looked at videos on Youtube and learned how to do a cable pattern, then made a few sweaters that are a lil more decorative. At least making it yourself, you can make it to your exact requirements.

Some brands fit better than others, and it doesn't seem to be necessarily about the expense of an item. I've had expensive dresses (Ralph Lauren) that fit so odd, I wonder if RL designers have ever tried the items on an actual dog. I've bought a sweater, and a hoodie with both having such long neck areas, I can't imagine them properly fitting any dog.

| I agree with you as well! I hate when tops are short, they look like they shrunk! I FINALLY got Armani a hoodie that I like that fits all my criteria- compliments of t-bumpkins and co. I really only like custom items for him, otherwise they just don't fit right in some way.

| Levi is long and lean, so a lot of store-bought clothing doesn't fit him well. XS is usually too short (like a belly shirt...and he's just too many for that). Smalls usually do well for length, but they can sometimes be really baggy. I also despise when boy clothes are too long on the underside and they get peed on. I also prefer for shirts to have sleeves. Another little preference is that I like for sweaters/jackets/coats to have slits for the D-rings of his harness, rather than an attached D-ring or nothing at all.

| I love the long sleeve look as well. I also like the chest covered. I've been racking my brains to come up with a sweater design that will fit everything I like and still be easy to put on and take off. I also like the slit for the d ring. Hmm? Guess I need to get the colored pencils out and some yarn samples.
