| Lexie's 7/17/07 litter of 7 Lexie (our 6.5 pounder who delivered at over 11 pounds))went into labor on Monday at 9:30AM and had all of her babies, 7 of them in 7 hours 45 minutes. The birth times, weights, color they sport, and anything exceptional about them are as follows: 2:59 AM girl 6.2oz. pink - was breech.....saw her butt first!! 3:15 AM boy 4.9oz. blue - white spot on chest 3:40 AM girl 4.1oz. red -a whiner....cries even when nursing!!! 4:15 AM boy 4.6oz. green 4:36 AM boy 5.1oz. purple - had a very short cord 4:52 AM girl 4.2oz. orange 5:14 AM girl 4.6oz. yellow - white spot on chest Yes that is 33.7 oz. of babies or 2.1 pounds. I took Lexie to the vet right when they opened because on her xray on July 6th, it showed 8 or 9 babies, but the new xray showed she was empty and ready to start being a Mom. We are as proud as we can be of our Lexie, and will share our babies with all of you to enjoy too. This first picture is right after the last puppy was born. I will update photos on a regular bases. Thanks to all for their help, concern, and best wishes.

| This is my 6th litter and yes, all the litters whelped in the wee hours of the morning...why? As for "Red", she knows when she whines someone will pick her up and cuddle her and she loves the attention. She fits great in the palm of a hand and you can rock her and love on Lexie all at the same time. The first girl who is the biggest has already gained a full oz in a day. I am having so much fun with our new additions. I am so glad they are here!! Good night all.

| I am sooooo proud to tell you that I returned the suppliment and bottles that I bought because I "knew" that I would be helping Lexie feed her bundles of joy. Well, she does not need or want my help. She is being such a good Mommy. I weigh the puppies twice a day and all have gained and "Pink" , the biggest girl has gained over an ounce already in a day in a half. She lets us hold the puppies, but really likes us to stay in eye shot so she knows they are all safe. I contine to suppliment Lexie's intake with the whelping pudding, cottage cheese mixed with her regular food, and more meals a day. She ran for the first time yesterday outside playing with Granddaughter. She is at about 95% I would say. Still pants a lot....should I worry about that? We go to vet tomorrow at 11AM.
