| Puppies 7 Weeks Old My Lil' Girl's first and last litter. We had quite a time. They are so precious and it will be very difficult to part with them. She had 4 boys and 1 girl. The girl is lying down in the picture. Can anyone tell me which of these puppies looks like he might meet the AKC breed standard for showing? The little girl weighs 14 ounces and the boys range from 1.25 to 1.90 pounds. Thanks. |

| Thanks Thanks. The mother pedigree has a champion in each generation including her brother. I understand that it is difficult to tell until they are at least 12 weeks old, but I thought someone might have an eye for Yorkies. |

| Puppies All of their ears are standing now. I was a little late in having them shaved, but they popped right up. I read about the breed standard, but without the experience I cannot apply it to this litter. The little girl has a doll face and will be small. I thought that the puppies that are breaking gold and tan would be closer to the standard but perhaps I am just clueless. |

| Hi, I just wanted to tell you how beautiful those puppies are! The boy on the far left really catches my eye and the litle girl is so small. I have a litter that is 9 1/2 weeks and you will be surprised how much they change in the next couple of weeks. As for showing, I'm not sure anyone can tell you just from looking at a pic but just guess. There are a lot of factors that go into a good show dog including temperament and how the dog carries itself. Personality is a plus! That said, I hope someone can help you. You might want to post this under the "showing" or "breeder talk" headings. You will probably get more of the answers you want there. Good luck and enjoy that puppy breath!

| Ok is it just me or does the first pup in the picture have the stance and attitude as Tramp from Disney's Lady & the Tramp. I know wrong breed altogether but I immediately thought that when I seen this pic.. Very very cute pups. Quote:
