I didn't look at your thread before I PM'd you...so there is a boy #5...that is great! I am glad he made it through the night and I am glad you made it through the night, lol...

Congrats on the new puppies! I know you are worn out and so is little momma. Can't wait to see some pics! How much snow do you have? We have had a little here and there but nothing like they were calling for. Terrible weather to have to get babies out in. Be careful and bundle up! Hope you can get some rest today.

thanks. we have lots of snow here. i know there is more at my house than what they say the city got. still snowing but the road was clear. frankie had a good check up. didn't take babies out.

On www.debbiejensen.com, the wheelping site, it says to give the mama some dark beer. She gives two teaspoons for her maltese that weigh more so I give my mam's one teaspoon. Light is okay, too. It helps the milk come on down to feed the babies. PLUS, it's good to settle MY nerves after whelping LOL. frankie hasn't had her beer but she has milk. My other two mommies didn't have milk for two or three days.

So glad to hear that the babies arrived safely and all is going well!
I'll keep them in my prayers and hope the weather clears up a bit so you can have a safe drive to the vets office
