Congratutions! You can tell mommy furbaby she is a very clever little girl! Best wishes and cuddles to all the babies too. Looking forward to photo time aswell!

My Kenya had 4 pups last summer and one had a hernia. Mom pulled on the cord and it was bleeding a lot. I tied it off with dental floss but the pup developed a hernia. Let us know what the vets says. Mine told me that with my pup that because of the hernia that the recommendation would be that the pup never have pups as an adult (mine was a girl also). She said that it wasn't that the puppy could never have pups, just that the recommendation was there not to because of the weakness in the lining. She also said that when I sold the pups to make sure that you clearly state the hernia in the bill of sale so that it can't come back to haunt you. I did end up getting about half for that pup as the others and I was very up front with the buyers. She also said that it couldn't be registered with the AKC as a breeder dog and that hernias tend to be passed on. I don't understand that one, but thats just what my vet told me. what tiny little ones! They will grow quick!! My Katie had her pups on Jan 1. So a week ahead of yours. All weighing about 3.5 oz..with the boy being a hair below 4....they are all FAT now! Sorry on the loss of your #4 pup!

Wow that is really neat. 2 Katie's having puppies in the same week. You will have to keep me updated. Here are some new pics of my Katie's babies. They are really growing. 6 days old and weighing in at 5.25, 4.5, and 5.5 oz today. I am experimenting with posting pics so please forgive me if these are awful.

The Katie and babies are BEAUTIFUL! And so tiny. I am so very sorry about puppy #4 -- I guess a new angel is looking over his brothers and sisters.

Ok I know I am a proud grandma, but aren't they just adorable?!

I had to post a few more pics. All of their eyes are open now and they are starting to stand a little and walk. They are so smart! I just know I will have a hard time telling them goodbye.....actually I am thinking of keeping one
