|  Update Mom and babies are doing great. One little girl is with her new mom and my little cleft baby is just a firecracker! Took her to the vet the other day and he says that he can lightly put her out and check the palate, and if necessary, he'll put a stitch in with no problem. I've heard that small clefts can close on their own, but he says that more likly the hole remains small as the puppie grows. Who knows. She's 12 weeks but is only 1 1/2 lbs, so I scheduled her for another month. She's been eating nothing but kibble for about a month now and is doing just fine. Here are a couple pics, finally. |

| Thanks She is such a hoot! I'm guessing maybe around 3 lbs. I guess she's partly running off all that milkshake and moms milk that she'd been getting. She's going to be with me for a couple more months, so we'll just have to see. It's going to be really hard parting with this one. I can't even think about it yet.  |
