No, her temp is still around 99.2, not dropping yet. She is not showing any other signs either. This is driving me nuts.

Default No Pups

Let me tell you about my weekend. Friday night Wick's temp was still at 99.1, she was restless all night. I carried her to the Vet first thing Saturday morning and they did xrays. The xrays showed nothing. She has been having a false pregnancy. Our regular vet did not feel there was a reason to xray her at 8 weeks unless we just wanted to know how many pups she was carrying, he felt she was just small and was probably carrying one to two pups. The weekend vet told us she could even get milk and go through a false labor, we may even see her try to mother one of her stuffed animals. It was a little disappointing but I was just happy nothing was wrong with my little girl. I was really worried about her.
Have any of you ever experienced this?

My vet told me to watch for milk and let her know if that happened. She said she may go through a false labor, but at this late date, she did not think so. Its just been the wildest thing. She is full of energy, eating great, we're just watching her very closely.

We are watching her very close. I guess I haven't mourned there not being any pups yet because I was so relieved that nothing was wrong with her. I'm sure in a couple days, it will hit me. We debated over breeding her for so long. She only comes in once per year. She just owns our hearts. It still amazes me that she can go through all the motions and not have a pup in there, and I swear one night when she was laying across my arm I felt a puppy move. I wasn't trying to, so I didn't imagine it, never really thought about it, then I felt this movement and I told my husband, oh my gosh I just felt a puppy move.
