oh here she is!! Isn't she just a cutie! I am so excited. I get her next week!
I got nerves in my stomach now! One problem, my 16 yr old daughter is freaking out because she doesn't want another dog! I don't understand why at all! Now all of a sudden all our dogs are stupid! This sure ruins the excitement. She wanted Starsky when we got him. So I am not sure why she is acting the way she is. My husband is okay with it. I am hoping she will see the puppy and fall in love.

The breeder wants me put a deposit down through paypal. She seems legit, is it wrong to ask for references and letting her know that I was almost scammed before?

okay, I got my daughter a little bit more interested in getting the puppy. She wants to help name her. I originally had Stella picked out and she hates that. So since Starsky is a cop name, we thought of Cagney as a girl cop. What do you all think?

Are you buying her over the internet?? I always ask for references and I woulden't tell her that you were almost scammed before. If you are getting her over the internet you can go through puppy escrow to make sure that you get the puppy you want and she gets the money that you want.

You can still be scammed through paypal, plenty of people have done it already. Go to www.puppyescrow.com
You have to pay a very small fee or you can split the fee with the seller. it is not much but what it does it you pay the money and the puppy is shipped, delivered, or whatever it may be. Once you get the puppy you have a time limit usually around 72 hours to take the puppy to the vet and to make sure that it is what you want and what you are paying for. Once everything is alright you report back to puppy escrow that everything is what you wanted and great and they will then release the money to the seller. If you decide the puppy is not what you wanted you notify puppy escrow and give the puppy back and the seller will not have even touched your money so you will get all of it back. The puppy is also tracked through out the whole process so that the seller won't get scammed by someone saying they never got the puppy when they really did. It is the only safe way to go when dealing with the internet. Oh by the way, the have puppy escrow for the U.S and other places but not nigeria because they are all scammers. So there really is no reason for a seller not to use this way. By using puppy escrow everyone is happy and their are no chances of scams.

she seems like a real honest lady. I talked to her on the phone. She said she would deliver the puppy to me. (well at least meet somewhere). We talked a good while about the size of the puppy and how to take care of her. Also how she would relate to other dogs. She also went over hypeglycemia and told me to make sure to separate the dogs so the puppy wouldn't over do it since she is so small. I did email her for references last night as well as I left a voicemail on her phone. It's still early this morning, and I am sure I'll hear from her. I'll feel her out a little more, before I send any money.
