What do you keep your moms and babies in? I mean like a playpen, a really large elevated crate or what???Just curious cause I have mine in a crate with a floor that you can set at different levels and then have that on a crate so they are up high enough for me to work with them. You are gonna ruin your back if you have to lean over that many babies....

hi, and thanks. They are in a crate, and yes it is on the floor, I sit on the floor in front of the crate with her, your right she will not leave them. Very very quick potty breaks is all she takes. Her food and water I keep right next to the crate, so she barely has to step foot out of the crate to eat or drink. I have never seen a crate like the one you have. Sounds great!! She is definatly getting more rubdowns now more then she ever has, and she loves it!!

Wow 7 puppies Congrats to you and that sweet mommy. You got some great close up pictures. thanks for posting them. Im sure it will help some one who has never seen puppies born before. Its just amazing. beautiful babies. Give momma a big hug from us.

7 pups!!!!!!! WOW, thats alot of furbabies! congrats to you and momma! be sure to give her and the pups lots of love! and start resting up because in a few weeks your gonna be dead with 7 pups running around 24/7! once again, congrats on your 7 pups!

Wonderful news...you should post a thread in teh Breeders section of these photo's for newbies..a pictures is worth a thousand words. I used to have several Terry Shumsky whelping video's for friends to watch..Roberta Rachenbach's tape mad me laugh so hard...when things got complicated, she stopped the tape and called the vet..next thing you know there was a puppy..shoot, we wanted to see how she got that "horse" of a puppy out?? LOL

Thank You!! That was so cool! I have never seen anything like that. I saw new ones at the breeders house that were just a few hours old but the birth is really something. I like the one where the baby is still in the bag and mom is getting it open. Do you help clean them? That sounds like a LOT of work for the mommy.
