| 7 Baby Yorkies! My girl did it! She gave birth to 7 beautiful Yorkies on Saturday, August 11th, day 59. It took approximately 6 hours but she remained strong as I give her a calcium supplement throughout delivery. She had 5 boys and 2 girls, however, 1 boy was born dead. He appeared to have been the victim of a lack of space. He was fully developed but just didn't have room to remain stretched out. My vet will examine him tomorrow during the appointment to get tails docked. All 6 remaining pups are strong and healthy, ranging in weight from 3.3 ozs to 5.6 ozs. This is Versace's last litter and did she ever go out with a bang! She's recovering well and will be spayed on 10/23/2018 after all pups have gone to their forever homes. She's 5 years old and it's time to retire. Thank you Versace for the beautiful offspring that you have given us throughout your years of reproduction. Now it's time for to rest sweet baby girl! I'm such a proud mommy!

| lilgidet, yes 7 little Yorkies in one litter! I don't think litters that big are normal for Yorkies! I took them to the vet today for a checkup and tail docking. She said they are amazingly healthy for a large litter. Mom is nursing them 100% of the time. no bottle or tube feeding required.

| Glad they're all okay. The usual litter I hear of is 3 or 4. These little ones will keep their mama very busy for the next few weeks. |
