| Our new baby Gracie She is just darling, absolutely full of personality plus and soo smart. We adore her!!! We are working on house training now and it is coming along well. The breeder suggested trying one of the new round 48" puppy play pens. We cover the entire bottom with wee wee pads and then set a very small box, about the size of a 9 x 13 baking dish filled with her blanket, on the inside. There is only enough room in the bed for her to sleep, so she is forced to get up to use the wee wee pad when in the play pen. She has water and lots of toys. These also have a zip on mesh top. If you opt to try one of these play pens, I would strongly recommend getting the canvas type whose bottom is NOT velcroed to the sides of the pen. Puppies get their noses between the underneath edges and learn to get out quickly. I have seen some on Amazon and Ebay, but can be hard to see if the sides are velcroed in pictures. If you know anyone who is looking for a wonderful little girl, I think the breeder has 2 more little females left and I am sure they are equally precious. This is one of Kathi Grice's babies and we can't say enough nice things about her and her spotlessly clean setup... She is in the Dallas suburbs and I will be happy to share phone number or email address if you email me at: scarlett6@aol.com More in another post on house training...
