Yay Ruby!! The puppies are so precious, every single one of them. I'm glad all the babies are latching on and nursing now. You're going to have a house full of fun in about 5-6 weeks...lol

How are you today? Thanks a lot for your help. All babies doing pretty good. The littlest two have put on some weight, sigh! I'm so relieved.

I'm sure you're so excited. My Fergie is almost 6 months old and I've tossed around the quest on breeding her. I'm just afraid of something going wrong and me loosing her. maybe you could help me with my decision!

Wow!! 7 Babies!! So cool! Where in CA do you live? If you live in the Bay Area and need any help, I'd be glad to help you with anything!! Grocery store runs, or Dog supply runs, help with feedings, dog walking, etc..

Ruby is doing really well. She looks way too good to have just had 7 puppies. I'm sure she is just glad they are in the bed and not in her anymore.

All puppies are gaining weight and doing well except little purple boy. He is still going up and down in weight. But we are working with him and he is a fighter.

With so many to nurse, I thought it would be harder for Ruby, but she just seems to be taking it in stride. Also, now that they are a little older, they don't all nurse at the same time. The first day or two it was like rush hour when the 5:00 Bart train pulls into the station.

My best advice about breeding is to hang around here and read what everyone else is saying about breeding. Stay on the April Puppies and May Puppies threads and you will learn a lot. Also do some research on-line and books that are probably in your library.
There is always a lot of talk on here about breeding: the why, the if you should, the how, etc. Good luck.

Some Yorkies Willnot Go Into Thier First Heat Untill 9mons Of Age. Wait Untillshe Is At Least 1yr And 1/2 Old Then Breed Her But You Will Need To Find A Male Smaller Than Her To Breed With.
