I don't understand why you are intentionally breeding for genetic defects???

Perhaps you should read this info: http://members.aol.com/CYorkie/Genet...Chocolate.html

I'll back this comment!!! I seriously think you need to stop breeding this pair and have them spayed/neutered...and I hope and pray you are not selling these "rare" (makes me sad to think of using that term for them) pups for a higher amount.

I now own a chocolate also (which is what your male is). My goodness, I am still shocked!
I have a little blue-born girl, she just turned a year old and is very healthy and happy Since you said you've only heard one success rate with blue borns, thought I'd share another one with you

Wonderful Rae Rae! I'd love to see pictures! I thought they were about 99% doomed if blue born.

She DID have hair when she was born, so that's the only confusing thing to me, but she started losing it about 2months old. But I've taken her to three different vets since we had her and they all say she's going to be normal, just to keep her extra warm. We also gotta take good care of her skin, because I read that they can get skin problems. I think some are born sick, maybe most are. I'm very grateful that she's healthy

Here she is as a baby

She was about 2months old here, when she started losing hair

And here's a pic of her in September, I really don't have any nakey pics of her, LOL.

Also one other wierd thing is, she has grown hair around her chest after her heat, and it's a lot, like hair on a short-haired dog.

why would you intentionally breed for this? Off-colors are one thing as it is opinion/preference...but a blue-born puppy is a serious defect that can have fatal consequences. I can't believe so many are encouraging this

Ahhhh ... your babies are gorgeous! Hope they can grow up here in the nursery. Those of us who can only have one kinda live through those of you who can have a "puppy pile"!!! Thanks for sharing!
