Yeah! congrats on your mom-to-be. I find those last few days, like from 60 to delivery, are the worst. I don't sleep well because I am so worried they will be born in the night. Actually, that did happen to us once. One little puppy born right between my husband's and my pillow. Didn't know anything about it until I woke up to a little mewing sound. There was mom and her little daughter -- all cleaned up and ready for the day!

It freaked me out so much that I barely sleep as we approach the birth date.

Good luck

We are on day 57 but I think she is going to have them early.....she is restless, keeps searching for something like she is looking for a whelping area. I keep bringing her to the whelping box but she wants to sit on my lap. Her temp is at 99.5. I called the vet and Im waiting for him to call back.

IMO, 6 days early is too soon. Of course, there is nothing that you can do to stop mother nature. Hopefully, she'll hold onto them for a few more days.

I REALLY hope so to because she doesn't have milk yet. Still waiting for the doc to call back. I will keep you all posted.

Peanut is doing fine. Vet called and everything is okay. We are *patiently* waiting for cute little babies.

Default Day 63

Well folks she held those puppies and still holding. Peanut is doing fine, resting and sleeping and believe it or not still eating and drinking. Her temp has been about 99 steadily for about the last three days. I am staying up at night and my boyfriend stays with her during the day to make sure one of us is with her at all times. No puppies yet, hopefully tonight. I caught her scratching around and making her whelping box a disaster last night so I am hoping she has them tonight. I will keep you posted.
