| Illinois 10 month under 3 lb male yorkie for sale Peekachew is ckc registered. He is darling. I didnt raise him, my friend did, she is ill and will not be breeding anymore and needed help placing her yorkies. 2 lbs 13 ozs. He definitely wont grow much if any at all. He will need neutered and needs definite work on housetraining. He has retained some of his baby teeth and will need work on them also. He is playful and loves to be held and cuddled. I put him in a carrier and he seemed to like it. He appears very healthy and is a jewel. He shouldnt be around young children because he could be hurt very easily. He is 1,000.00. I cant give a guarantee like I do my own yorkies but whoever would be interested in him would have 4 days to have him vet checked for whatever they chose and if you wanted to return him, I would give them a complete refund of his purchase price. Im not willing to ship Peekachew. His little guy would make someone an excellent companion. If I thought he had any major physical problems I would not offer him. |

| PLEASE don't take offence but $1,000 for a 10 month old that needs dental, neutering, training, and no health garuntee is a bit steep....

| Luvdorkyorkis: I think it is wonderful what you are doing for your sick friend and I know you will find a good home for him with people who will cherish him and the love he has to give. No offense Lexi's Mom but I think Peekachew is worth every penny they are asking and then some. This woman has raised him and loved and cared for him for 10 months and he is a tiny. I think he is priceless and someone will feel that price is a steal! Go read the thread on what it costs a breeder to breed a litter of pups and give then the 24/7 care and the best of the best and you will not disagree with me. It's under the Breeder subsection. IMO we cannot expect breeders to properly care for these babies and then not fairly compensate them for their efforts. |

| No offense taken .........I agree these things should have been taken care of earlier......my friend was sick, the puppies were not sold and it simply was not done. She was trying to hold on to something she loved to do for a year before she had to face she could not do it anymore. The truth is you can buy a puppy for a couple grand and may still have to invest in the things that Peekachew requires now later, his price is been offset actually to cover vet expenses. The vet care he requires is nominal compared to alot of instances Ive seen with tiny yorkies. He has never suffered from hypoglycemia and he has a furious appetite. Hes been at my home a couple weeks now and Im impressed with him. Everyone thinks their baby is special but this one isnt my baby and I still think he is very special! In Peekachews defense the benefits of being his owner are great. If size is important hes very little, if a certain look is important....well he looks pretty much like he is going to look except for some pretty coat changes as he matures. If a complete lap dog is important..hes the one. Everyday he looks prettier to me! Poor yorkie has me grooming him which is pitiful! Im just completely honest about him. ANyway I have put up a couple more pictures of the cute little guy..........heck I might just buy him myself! I think hes very pretty. Last edited by luvdorkyyorkies; 05-26-2005 at 11:15 AM. |

| I think he's beautiful and a bargain. You know what you're getting. All Yorkies should be neutered or spayed as pets. They usually remove the teeth at the same time. I spent $3,000. for mine and had more expenses, parasites, allergies, afterwards more serious health issues such as kidney function, only one working other was smaller then normal. When I was at the point where she is living a comfortable quality of life, ashamed to tell you how much I spent on vets. She will always have to be monitored and isn't as she was before and never will be. She's 5 lbs., from a show breeder. Big deal ! I love her but she has to live at a young age without going outside, etc. She can't have her boosters as yet or maybe never. She isn't exposed to other dogs for this reason. Her innoculations still her protecting, tested blood titers but if she gets sick, who knows. |

I'm not a breeder but i did have an accident and had a litter it was a wonderful experience and expensive but i got lucky and my 4 pound little girl did a great job all by herself. i'm not really sure what all expense is in breeding except of course the health checks before they breed (i didnt do that since it was an accident) then the docking of the tails i had 3 pups the bill about 175.00 of course we did x ray when i thought she might be pregnate that was about 100.00 oops we did ultra sound first that was 150 then x ray to see how many for sure of course special fod and calicum gosh it does add up huh i got robbed i sold my girls fo 800 and my boy for 700 but i know they went to wonderful homes and i still get to keep in touch with 2 of them which i love forgot to say they are both fixed now so no more accidents Last edited by rene; 05-26-2005 at 08:27 PM. |
