| Morkie wanted in Northern IL! Hi, my boyfriends cousin is looking for a Morkie. (I know Morkie/Yorktease is a mix. Please don't lecture me) I wanted to look to this wonderful, loving YorkieTalk community for some help. If anyone knows any breeders within 9hr driving distance from Northern Illinois, of if anyone has any puppies they would like to sell. Let me know. There is a $700 limit. Also, she would like a female. |

| Are you looking for a puppy or adult? There are tons of mixes looking for homes in the shelters and are usually a great price to adopt. Good luck

| I'd check petfinder.com to look for one that may need a home if they are open to adopting and flexible on age. I don't have much great advice.. I have mixes myself 3 of them and it's so hard to find a breeder who actually does all the important health testing on their dogs. Good luck in your search! |

| I already looked on petfinder.com and didn't find any Maltese/Yorkie mixes. I love petfiner. actually i got my pomeranian from there, we drove from Northern Illinois to Ohio to get her and love her to death. she was 1lb 15oz when we got her and a steal at only $100! If anyone is looking on petfinder and sees a "morkie" let me know! I would love to save another baby. |

| I found my Morkie on petfinder. I wouldn't go there for anything. Piper came to us in terrible shape. She was sicker than a dog. LOL She had coccidia, giardia, upper respitory infection. Now we might be dealing with a liver shunt. Don't buy from a website. If you find a dog from a website, go & see it first. Don't have it shipped unseen. Although we bought all 3 of ours that way, after seeing Brushy Creek investigation. I will never do it again. You never really know who you are dealing with.

| I know someone who got their Morkie from Knapp Creek Acres in Iowa. Try knappcreek.com. They breed both Yorkies and Maltese and occasionally have Morkies although I think they call them Yorktese puppies but it's the same thing.
