| Yorktese (or Yorkie) Wanted in Pacific NW Area Hi there, I'm looking for a Yorktese puppy to love and cherish. I will drive anywhere in the Vancouver Canada area to Seattle Wa or other Pacific NW regions to pick one up or will pay for shipping from elsewhere. Price is a consideration, so I'd like it to be somewhat reasonable if possible. This puppy would be very spoiled and doted on as I have no other pets right now. I would be just as happy for a Yorkie pup as well. Any info that someone could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

| I can recommend a terrific Yorkie breeder in Everett, WA (where we got Yoda!) if you are interested. Just reply or privately message me. There's also a few reputable YorkieTalk members who are breeders down south in Vancouver and Portland, OR. Good luck in your search. |

| Is a Yorktese the same as a Morkie? Maltese with a Yorkie? I don't recall seeing any breeders on YT that breed mixes except for once, but she wasnt a regular user. You may want to use the search threads feature and try to find her contact info. Good luck!

I remember when I posted about wanting a Morkie. Many people posted and convinced me not to buy a "designer dog" I ended up purchasing TJ, and he is a purebred Yorkie. He does resemble a Morkie in some features though, but I know he is purebred because I have AKC papers. liddowee, if I were you, I would just get a purebred Yorkie. That way, you know what you are getting. | |

| If you are really set on getting a Morkie, there are a few breeders who might ship to you. I found them on the internet, so I do not know anything about them. Here is a site with several Morkie/Yorktese breeders in Iowa. http://www.iowapetbreeders.com/morkiebreeders.htm I found an ad on hoobly.com. A person bought a Morkie and cannot keep it. It is a puppy and they are asking $500. I do not know if they will ship. They are in Illinois. http://www.hoobly.com/0/0/127119.html I also found a breeder in Alberta, Canada who has one male Maltese/Yorkie ready to go on the 4th of July. $900 http://www.hoobly.com/0/0/132415.html This breeder breeds Yorkies, Malteses, and Morkies. They have an upcoming litter. "Females from our upcoming Morkie litter will be priced at $1000.00 and males will be priced at $850.00" http://www.puppypuddles.com/MORKIES.html There is a breeder who lives in PA. They deliver by car. I do not know if they ship or deliver to Canada. "READY NOW - ONE MALE ($750) AND ONE FEMALE ($950)- SMALL SIZE 4-6 LBS - CALL US 724 667 9268" http://www.usfreeads.com/268201-cls.html I found another breeder in Missouri. They do ship. This breeder has several puppies for sale. Two light female puppies: "The adoption price is $750 on the females and $700 on the males. The lighter puppies are $100 more." They also have two black and white males: "The adoption price for each of these two boys is $500. Shipping is available. Just email or call to adopt your new little one today." They also have a black and tan Yorktese male: "We are asking $700 each for these pups. We can ship in the United States. Please email or call for further information." They also have a white w/ brown spots Yorktese female and a black and brown Yorktese male (THEY ARE REALLY CUTE): "They are 8 weeks old and could be released in just two weeks. They have a great personality, and will be hard to part with. They are very social and are looking for great loving permanent home. She is $850, and he is $700. Please email or call for more information and further pictures. We can ship." Soo Big Dogs Contact: Monta Lou Beckett Joplin, MO 64804 UNITED STATES Phone: 417-623-1567 http://breeders.dogbreedinfo.com/ind...20040927130702 I hope that you find the right puppy for you. |

| We have a precious little boy 4 1/2 months old named Simba. Our Isis and Zeus had babies and we fell in love with them and had a hard time thinking of letting them go. We have five dogs and only four arms...we think that Simba would be happy to be the center of attention and have someones arms to himself...he is so sweet and loving and deserves the best. | In love with my Morkie! It took some time but I finally found the pup I had been dreaming of in August 2005. I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to this thread to help me in my search. Her name is Poppy and she is perfect!! She comes from an AKC registered Maltese mom and and an AKC registered Yorkie dad and the best of both: 7 lbs of pure energy with the cutest little doll face, and 100% hearty and healthy. She loves to fetch like the big dogs at the park and can jump up into my arms afterward. But she's also a super soft cuddle muffin. The other day I overheard an older gentleman say to his wife that when he was a kid he carried around a teddy bear that had the exact same face as Poppy!! Needless to say I'm smitten. I definitely recommend this mix to anyone, but the only way to reliably know what you're getting is if both parents are purebreds. Again thanks for the help all! |
