| Hi, I can only tell you from my experience at looking for a Yorkie in Ontario for 2 months, that I did not see any for sale at that price. I contacted the breeders from the Canadian Kennel Club website. I found Mya from the newspaper ad posted on line. You can check out the local papers that have websites. You have to remember that PJ's pet store is selling Yorkies for $2500 for a male and $2800 (+15% tax) for a female with out papers. You would be much better off saving another $500 and getting one off of a breeder. $1500 seems to be the average starting price that I saw. Don't forget to ask for a 24 HR (or longer) vet check agreement. That gives you 24 hours to have the puppy oked by a vet, if the vet advises that the puppy has problems you can return it. Good Luck, Cyn |
