| Looking for young adult Yorkie in CT area I would like to find a companion for Max. I will end up getting a puppy if I can't find a young adult. I just dread the idea of having to house train all over again. I know about rescue dogs and have briefly looked into them. Currently there aren't any in my area. |

Have you tried Yorkierescueme? Good luck in your search. I looked for 9mos before I finally went out and bought a puppy. Carol & Buddy | |

| Hi Maxie's mom. You may want to keep looking in the classified section of your local newspaper. I found my little Morkie (She's in my avatar) in the classifieds section of our local paper. She was ten minutes from me. The woman bought her from TopnotchYorkies and decided she didn't want to keep her and placed her. She was nine months old, spayed already, had all her shots and I got her for half the price she originally paid. PLUS she was completely wee wee pad trained. We keep her on pads since she's tiny. She's only a bit over 3 lbs. full grown. Usually February / March you'll find a lot of dogs listed both in the paper and on rescue. Many buy them for Christmas gifts and find they are too much to handle so they look to sell them. Best of luck. Elaine |
