| I have had some problems with scammers where they send more money than you are asking. They are not going to get my money. Anyone else had that problem?

YT Addict | Hi Rockrobin, I didn't start out to breed , just got my darling sugar for a companion. I ended up getting a 2lb male and i had a litter of three last year. They aren't showdogs, but i think they are beautiful! I got $750 for my girls and $700 for my little boy. They wasn't akc, but apri registered. My girl is akc and apri, but my male is apri. I give anyone the right to breed as long as they don't have puppies that are going to be under 4 1/2 lbs. To me, under that is just to risky for the female. Of course after they leave my home i have no control over that. I just try to give them advice and try to sell to people looking for a pet to love. No puppy mills. I'm sure you know since you live in Missouri that the puppymills are everywhere in this state. I do make a little money off my pups, and anyone who says they don't that sells them for that much is probably fibbing. I take my dogs to the vet regurly and give them heartworm and feed them science diet dry along with can. I still make money. My vet is very reasonable, non like some we have that will break You. I also keep my pups in the house and two of them sleep with me. Would like to get to know you since i live near Springfield Missouri. My name is Charmayne . I now have 5 yorkies. It is addicting, I have a little akc male i need to sell for pet quality, microchipped, two and a half years old, but don't know about breeding. doesen't seem interested. Beautiful dog, but wants to be held all the time. He is like a baby. 4.4lbs Last edited by bigdog; 05-16-2005 at 09:24 AM. |

| bigdog wish your male was smaller I wish your male was a small 3-31/2 lbs. Thats what I am looking for. And it is a shame missouri has such a bad rep for puppymills. I want to be a hobby breeder. Bought my first yorkie 7 years ago and fell in love with this breed of dogs. I now have a total of 4. I have my kids raised and stay at home so I can give my babies all the love they can handle. They have their own room and a play area inside and out. We have one that bed hops.I am from S.E. missouri around cape girardeau mo. area. The male I have now is 4lb. but his frame is a little bigger and he has not breed yet either. The new female I have will be 4-1/2 to 5 lb.when grown. Thats why I am look for a smaller male. I have one female 6 1/2 lb that is breed to my friends 3-1/2 lb male. I would love to get one of her males but they would be related to mine. He is the father to the new pup i have and the father to the babies due in june. I figure to sell them around the 550.00 price range. Have a good day everyone. |

YT Addict | Like i said , i don't think he will breed, but he is as short as my two lb, just longer. I was told he was three lbs when i bought him, but my vets small doggie scales says different. He looks very tiney. Like you I have 4 grown children , all live out of state, so my yorkies are my babies. Have to get off here before my hubby gets upset , have things to do. Check back in later. Nice talking to everyone. Are your doggies AKC. I have a litter of AKC due July. Might be interested in buying a male from you or trading.Have a nice day. |
