Spike is from a litter of 2. His sister left here last week to start her adventure with her wonderful new family. Since then he's been a bed buddy and will wake us up to go outside. He also will sleep in his little bed on the floor. He's a very happy guy and gets excited when our Grand's come to visit. Does real well with Gracie who's 5 and has been helping me with puppies for 2 years.

I adopted Spike's sister (now Sophie) last week and she is just the sweetest little doll. Sophie came to us from such a loving family...it's obvious that she's been well socialized and so very loved.

Jeanie, I am so proud to have one of your babies...she's the light of our life right now (along with Topher and my human babies!) and she's fit into our family like she's always been here. She's almost 100% pee pad trained (which amazed me at 11 weeks old!) and she has the most wonderful disposition.

I hope that Spike will find a forever family soon...if he's anything like his sister, he'll be the most wonderful addition to a loving family.

Just an update. We've been going outside to potty. He wakes us up in the am to go out and usually makes it to the door during the day. He loves to go out in the snow with his momma and daddy & plays for a little while and runs straight for the door to come back in. We're calling him Little St Nick now. He's taken to sleeping under the Christmas Tree during the day. He's a real Lover Boy.

We went for his second round of shots this week and the vet said that he was a healthy happy little guy. He was 4lbs and Dr P checked him from the tip of his nose to his little tail. He just stood there and didn't move, not even for the shot. He's found his voice and tells us when it's time to go out and when it's time to eat

. He sleeps all night, finally, and takes his half of the bed out of the middle. (Queen size bed with us and 3 other yorkies fighting for the edges!)

Hi Jeannie,

This my first post, so I hope I am doing this right! I appreciate your response to my e-mail. I have so very much love to give and am very anxious to add another Yorkie to my family, but after much deliberation I have to admit that I really would prefer another female. Best of luck with Spike . . . it sounds as though he is a healthy and happy little guy. Thank you!
