expert yorkie owners please help me find one to love hi i am stephanie, i posted a thread yesterday and went to log in today and for the life of me went around and around so i had to open a new account. so now i am lookinf for a companion and i thought maybe you guys could help me. im not picky all i ask is that he.she has the yorkie look, i just need a little best friend to accompany me everywhere and help me through my cancer treatments. i really am not rich and think that some of these breeders are out of their mind, dogs are not toys they are humans and nobody would want us to be breed and sell our babies, so im looking to either adopt or take in one that someone can no longer care for, or just needs to be rehomed, please help me if you guys can. i have been scammed once i never want it to happen again. thanks

Yorkies are very expensive no only to purchase, but also to care for. They need regular baths, regular grooming, shots, heartworm and flea preventative, food, spay/neuter, and the list goes on an on. Maybe you should try adopting a non-purebred small dog from the humane society and save your money for vet bills. I wish you all the luck in the world finding the perfect furbaby for you, but in reality, furbabies, especially yorkies, are very very expensive to maintain.

Here is a $300 yorkie for sale in Tennessee. But then you would have to pay $250 to have her shipped. This is the cheapest I've ever seen a yorkie...especially one this good looking. Maybe you can get her. http://www.livedeal.com/ShowItemDeta...yCatyName=Item

yeah i have found many yorkies in my price range but things have come up such as distance and then they add on to their price, and then they sound like a rip off, but i just dont feel safe having a puppy shipped to me, i have found many that can be shipped it just doesnt seem right to ship. plus im afraid of the worst. i also know the amount of grooming and vet bills etc thats fine, i have a local vet that i have known and even went to as a child with my mom and my animals, i know that and i know costs, mine is the fact of finding the right one. i prefer an older yorkie that just needs some love and companionship and his owners would love to have me take him in, im not just looking for a cheap little show dog who can be eye candy, and i want him now and cheaps its not that, theres many things i have been and do consider.

Try looking on buysellcommunity.com or agriscape.com. I cannot vouch for the quality but I have seen some inexpensive ones on these two sites. Sylvia

sorry i didnt update i everyone sorry i didnt update but i have found a yorkie, hes 16 weeks old and hes full bred. his name if frankie. i actually had a breeder in my home town who doesnt advertise her puppies and she said she works by word of mouth. well she listened to my story and i actually got my baby for 100.00 dollars. hes went to the vet and got a fullllllll check up. and hes fine, i was sooo worried due to his price and well the way he smelled and his personal hygiene but he was fine, and we are still learning him but hes a character. he doesnt act like a 2 pound yorkie, he acts like a bull dog, but hes great now we have to work on the potty training he doesnt seem to get it. any tips would be great thanks everyone who helped me and those who told me to look else where im stubborn yet patient and i found my baby, prayers worked also so thank you GOD, have a great day everyone.
