I am hoping to find an AKC Tiny Female Yorkie Puppy in Pa. I am also willing to wait until she becomes available. She will be much loved and in a responsible home. Please help me find her!!:

I'll have one available Dec. 30th. but I might be willing to let her go a few days earlier so you can have her for Christmas. She'll be 12weeks old on the 30th. The DAM is 5lbs. and the SIRE is 3. The pups are AKC champion bloodline. I'm selling her for $1500.00. I live in Indiana though. If interested let me know. Here are pics. of the DAM,SIRE and pups.

I am not sure where in PA you are located, but there is a great Yorkie rescue in the Philadelphia area. Let me know if you are interested, and I can give you their information!!

I went to the SaveaYorkieRescue website and in one of the threads, they tell about someone that was going to use a Yorkie they rescued for food for his 19 foot python.

I can't believe it. They said be careful when you offer dogs in the paper "free to good home".

I guess I am just too old. It had just never occurred to me that there were people who would do such a thing.

I guess I thought the worst that could possibly happen was that some research company would use them to test shampoo or something on. It never dawned on me someone could take a puppy, a living creature with feelings, and feed it to a snake.

I am literally physically sick. What kind of world do we live in?

The person that was going to feed the yorkie to his snake needs to be well I'm a nice person so I can't repeat the words I feel about this I don't know what to call it because he sure doesn't deserve to even be called a person. What happened did he feed the yorkie to his snake or what?

Even though I now reside in Maryland I am from Philadelphia and all of my family still lives there. I never knew there was a yorkie rescue there and I have been looking on the internet for some and all that I have found were ones really far away. I would like to know more about this resuce near Philly, and if you could supply me with the information that would be great!

Please don't get a Yorkie that is too small. Just as humans must weigh a minimum amount, so must Yorkies. If they weigh less than about 4 pounds as adults, their organs become too tiny to be healthy. There is no such thing as a "tea-cup" Yorkie, and responsible breeders won't sell them.

You wouldn't want a 90-pound adult human, so don't get a 3-pound adult Yorkie!
