The show is at Jim R. Miller Park in Marietta - 2245 Callaway Rd. SW Ring time Sat. is at 1:50 (Ring 4) and Sun. at 10:15 (Ring 3). It will be hard to talk to us before or during the show (we get nervous before showing and it is a lot going on to have to concentrate on), so just wait for after yorkies are finished showing. I recommend getting a catalog - cost is usually 10.00 at the door and will have a list of all of us showing with our address. There will be a lot of yorkies and breeders there - total count 24 yorkies showing. By going to a show you will actually be able to see what they have. There should be some of the best yorkies in the US at this show. Atlanta area really draws them in - we get some of the top breeders in the U.S. there. Also many handlers - they take the dogs into the ring for the owner. Saleswmn - I have my hubby going this weekend. He was able to get off work to go with me. Would love to see ya! Best Always, T.

It is inside, but I would bring a chair. Usually there is no seating at most of the shows. Ring 3 and 4 will be in building "B." See ya there! Tina

aroberts - the site you recommended has mixed "Designer"pups??? How many dogs does she have to end up with so many mixed breeds. JMO - she might be very nice and a good person, but I would never buy from someone that - on purpose - breed to get mixed breeds and called them "Designer" breeds or had the Visa/MC on a web page.We already have soooo many pups in dog pounds that need a home without people breeding more mixed on purpose and calling them Designer. I don't like the idea of people calling them "Designer" breeds. Call them what they are - mixed. My daughter is buying a mixed lab right from a humane society now. She wanted a puppy and wanted to help save a pup - so she went there. I commend her for this. Just my opinion and nothing against this breeder. I just think this person that started this link is wanting a full blooded yorkie and not from a breeder that also breeds mixed Designer dogs. T. Last edited by topknot; 11-04-2006 at 12:10 PM.

P.S. - She also has 27 dogs and breeds a 2 1/2 pound "mommie" and also uses the term - "teacup." Red flags to me! JMO. We just have to make sure novices understand and become educated so they can make educated choices/decisions. This breeder might not even be aware of what she is doing. So nothing against her, since I do not know her. I just couldn't sit by and say nothing about this link. I am just going by the information on her web site. T.

What does this have to do with her yorkies... why wouldn't you buy a full blooded yorkie from someone that has other pupps....? If the puppy is full blooded. I just don't understand what you mean and what your trying to say --- | |

She has the logo of Visa/MC on her page I guess to inform others they can pay for the pup using a credit card - which means she has the machine or way to use charges. Usually a sign of a business and not recommended as good practices for ethical breeders. It is something we just don't do. I know you meant well and might not know some of the red flags and some of her pups do look cute - But.... you just have to becareful (be aware of them) when you see these red flags and walk into the purchase with open eyes. I have just had to listen to sooo many sad stories this year of ones with great loses and were not aware of what they were getting into to. In no way am I saying she would have a problem, only that we need to be aware. T. Last edited by topknot; 11-04-2006 at 12:25 PM.
